Yuga Labs Co-founder Unveils Major Plans for Bored Apes Franchise

  • The improvements show that Yuga Labs is heavily investing in game-centric innovation.
  • The group is investigating the possibility of integrating BAYC with other tangible goods.

Greg Solano, co-founder of Yuga Labs, has finally spoken out about his plans for the Bored Apes franchise as a whole. Solano took to his official X account to explain that he is holding himself responsible by basing his update on his 10-day check-in.

Ever since it debuted and became the largest digital collector series in the sector, Yuga Labs has been trying to sell functional products. Solano identified the major upgrades that excite him, despite his claim that the company lacks the necessary depth and mastery of the product.

Enriching Yuga Labs Ecosystem

He began by bringing up the ODK, which is widely considered to be the gold standard for creating and monetizing crypto-based social experiences or 3D games. The improvements show that Yuga Labs is heavily investing in game-centric innovation.

According to Solano, the developers at Web3 are hard at work on Project Dragon, a first-person shooter with one of the most ridiculous team combat plots ever. According to the head of Yuga Labs, the development team is utilizing the same set of tools to create ODK and the game as well.

Aside from the various “brand expressions” that the company is developing, Solano also introduced the ApeFest. At this event, a monastery from the 15th century will play host to thousands of bored ape owners from 56 different nations. Solano uncovered that the merchandise will be made and delivered according to plan, which will make this event unique.
