Japan-based Metaplanet recently hit a major benchmark by pushing its Bitcoin holdings above 1,000 BTC.

On October 28, the company declared that it acquired 156.78 BTC with an investment of $10.4 million, increasing its total Bitcoin supply to 1,018.17 BTC – currently valued at around $68.8 million.
