Poly Network has announced the complete termination of its services. Poly Bridge cross-chain and other services will be shut down effective Sep 30, 2024.
In April, the team noted its intention to suspend cross-chain services, ceasing new deployments and only supporting existing partners. The decision to fully shut down was made citing changing market conditions. The team will remain available to help projects transition away from the platform and answer any questions or concerns.
Poly Network faced its third significant exploit this year when an attacker managed to exfiltrate over US $3 million in various tokens via Flamingo Finance. Eight addresses belonging to the attacker, including four suspected exchange deposit addresses, have been frozen in response.
